Bone Density Analysis
Bone Mineral Density is an advanced form of xray technology that is used to measure bone loss (osteoporosis). Typically, two xrays will be taken, one of the lumbar spine and one of the hip. The density measured by the machine will be compared to a reference set and a score will be calculated indicating the level of bone thinning.
At Sydney Xray Bondi Junction, we are using the latest Norland DEXA equipment and Australian population T Score reference databases.
